  • Three members of 2006 cheerleading team were selected to the class M All-State Cheerleading Team. (Korrinc Mannix, Stephanie Bendtsen and Sara Finke). Korinne and Alissa mannix participated in the National Cheerleader Scholarship competition for 2006 and were selected as two of the top 50 cheerleaders in the country. The following cheerleaders will participate in the process for national Cheerleader of the year for 2007: Alissa mannix, Korinne Mannix, Jaclyn Albino, Stephanie Bendtsen, Sara Fink, Lauren Johnson, Nicole Luth, Cassandra Mastrianni and Mikala Ouellette. Coaches Michele and Ron Cordeau have been selected as the National Federation Spirit Coach of the year.
  • Boys X-country with new Coach Teresa Bendtsen had three returning runners from last year's team. With continued hard work they finished 4-6, after going 0-10 last year. They placed 7th in the NVL. Eric Demmons made all NVL. Chris Bendtsen placed 20th in Class M CIAC and is one of the Best freshman runners in the NVL. Eric Demmons finished 16th in the CIAC State Meet.
  • Girls X-country finished the season at 5-5. The girls continued to train hard. They finished 6th in the NVL and Michelle Maurice and Stephanie Bendtsen place on all NVL. They also did well in the CIAC State Meet. Michelle Maurice placed 23rd. Congratulations to first year Coach Teresa Bendtsen.
  • Girls Soccer had a hard working group of girls. The girls played very tough against the top seated teams in the league. The girls improved as the year went on and the seniors showed leadership and perseverance. Heather Olesen and Jenny Weed make 2nd team All-NVL.
  • Boys Soccer with new Coach Bryan Plona finished with a 6-10 record and missed the NVL & CIAC tournament by one game. Ryan Gorman made All-NVL honors. The program had 37 athletes and welcomed also new JV Coach Dan Catano.
  • Girls Volleyball returned six seniors and 31 players in the program. This team worked hard at skill development and did a lot of learning at practice and games. The girls worked hard to stay competitive and showed much improvement as the season progressed.
  • Football finished with 13 seniors in the program. This group continued to work hard to stay competitive. As the season went on much progress was made! Matt Sheahan, Joe Cappucetti and Walter Williams made 2nd team All-NVL.
  • The Coaches would like to thank each player for commitment to make the program better. With over 60 players back and successful JV and freshman teams the future is bright.
  • After 20 seasons as Head Football Coach Monroe will retire from his head football position. It has been an honor and privilege to serve Wolcott High School and the community as the Head Football Coach.
