SUPERINTENDENT BRINGS CHINA TO WHS
On Tuesday December 19, Dr. Thomas Smyth Jr., Superintendent of Wolcott Public Schools, shared highlights and observations from his recent trip to China. After a brief geography and economic lesson on the great Asian nation, the Superintendent proceeded to paint an interesting and informative portrayal of life at Wolcott High's sister school in Shandong province. Dr. Smyth's presentation also included a Question and Answer session that emphasized the importance of cultural and commercial bridge-building between the United States and China.
