The Wolcott Board of Education is accepting applications for the following position:
Title: Special Education Paraeducator

Location: Districtwide


Start Date: As Soon As Hired


Rate: Step 1: $20.24 per hour


Benefits: Per Contract


Closing: Until Filled

Duties:
Assist students with IEPs in Regular Education Classroom Settings and individual setting as needed (eg. student’s taking a test in a quiet setting)
Work with Teachers with teaching/non-teaching instruction
Clerical/support assistance, file and catalog materials
Assist in the safety and regulation of school rules, administrative directives, and Wolcott Board of Education policies
Attend and participate in staff meetings, conferences, and School-Parent Teacher Associations meetings as appropriate
Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs if necessary
